James and Ewelina's Tree Church Wedding Ohaupo 4th Jan 2055
What a great way to start 2025 with this epic wedding at The Tree Church and Gardens just up the road from me in Ohaupo.
It is always such a pleasure to be part of a couple's special day and even better when they choose such a fabulous venue for the ceremony and reception. If it isn't just amazing having your ceremony in a living tree church, it's just as good once the formal part of the day is over and the bride and groom and bridal party head round the gardens for their photos. There is really no need to leave the venue , which is a bonus for a lot of couples but if you did want to leave for extra photos there are some stunning options close by, especially for sunset, having captured weddings locally for close to 20 years I have lots of locations for you to choose from close by.
James and Ewlina flew in from Norway, Ewelina is Polish and James a kiwi and wanted to have the ceremony back in New Zealand with family and friends. The weather was on its best behaviour and The Tree Church and Gardens looked amazing, being kept so beautifully for couples and tended loving by the owners. I started with Ewlina at the onsite accommodation there before heading down to capture a few of James and his groomsmen before the ceremony. The Guests arriving all loved The Tree Church and enjoyed the ceremony and afternoon reception with games and nibbles and drinks while the couple came away for photos....
